Tickets
Transcripts & ratings
A staff copy, a player copy and a 1–5 star rating when tickets close.
Two copies#
When a ticket closes, Tikkora writes two plain-text transcripts:
| Staff transcript | Player transcript | |
|---|---|---|
| Sent to | Your transcripts channel | The player, by DM |
| File name | ticket-0042-staff.txt | ticket-0042.txt |
| Staff notes | Included, marked as staff notes | Left out |
| Internal notes (actions, tool results) | Included | Left out |
What is in a transcript#
- Ticket number, subject, server, category, who opened it and when, close time and reason.
- The description, or the answers to the category’s form questions.
- Every message with a timestamp, the author and their role (user, staff, AI), marked “edited” where it was edited. Deleted messages are left out.
- Links to attachments.
Ratings#
Under the player’s DM the bot asks “How did we do?” with buttons for 1 to 5 stars. Only the player who opened the ticket can rate it, and rating again replaces the old rating. The rating is posted to the transcripts channel (or the staff channel without one) and shows in the dashboard overview and ticket list.
Settings#
In Settings → Tickets or /config → Ticket behaviour:
- Post transcripts: the staff copy.
- DM the player their transcript: the player copy.
- Ask for a rating: needs the DM option, since the rating sits under that message.
The texts are yours to change under Messages: transcript.dm, rating.ask and rating.thanks.
Exporting everything#
Management can export every ticket with its full conversation from the dashboard’s Data page. The zip arrives by Discord DM. See Using the dashboard.
